KeymasterHi,
where should I put the translation files?
I’m translating the theme in French but front-end translations don’t work.
Here is where I put the translations files :
– wp-content/themes/pinkmart/languages/fr_FR.po(+mo)
– wp-content/languages/themes/pinkmart-fr_FR.po(+mo)WordPress + WooCommerce are configured in French => it’s ok on products…etc… but not with theme specifics.
Please, what I’m doing wrong ?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards.

KeymasterHi mate,
Do you use a loco translate plugin?
loco transition plugin has “choose a location ” option, and you can select between plugin suggestion locations,
but we suggest you keep translation file out of theme folder, to don’t lost translation file after each updatecheck the following article also,

KeymasterI’m using Poedit,
I found the source of my issue : some items in translations were notified “to check” in Poedit. These items were not compiled in translation files.
Also, I moved all translation files to wp-content/languages/[themes or plugins] directories.
It’s working fine now 😉
I will send you all translations files when I finish this work.
Best regards.
